Peoples of The Land

I would like to acknowledge my fortune and privilege to live on, create from, explore, and be inspired by the unceded lands and Traditional territories of the Lekwungen-speaking peoples, the Songhees and Esquimalt, and the WSÁNEĆ people as an uninvited settler. Their historical relationships with the land very much remain today. I am grateful to past, present, and future Indigenous people for their stewardship, care, and leadership on these lands for millennia. I support Land Back, Decolonization, and Rematriation movements.
